Our Goals: Tall City Roller Betties main goal is to become a member of the nationwide, Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby Association, where we can rank in regional and national championships. Our local goals are to find a permanent Bettie home where we can start a Jr. League, and in which we will hold our practices and bouts, inviting other leagues to compete from all over the county. We would love to offer our home to other sports leagues needing a practice location as well. It’s important to the Betties to involve family, friends and the community in this venture. It takes the help of everyone to make a successful roller derby league.

The Molly Roger Rollergirls (MRRG) is a full-contact, women’s flat-track roller derby league dedicated to bringing the enjoyment of the sport to Brevard County! The league was officially formed in 2007 when two local teams combined under the moniker the “Molly Roger Rollergirls.” Now, we are divided into two home teams, the Yeti’s Betties and the Molly’s Swallows, and we get the best from those teams to make up our competitive travel team, MRRG. We have plans to expand to four home teams in 2013 which takes us one step closer to reaching our goals of becoming a WFTDA apprentice league.

Our league is 100% skater-owned and volunteer based. We are a not-for-profit organization which encourages women of all backgrounds to experience the camaraderie, self-confidence, and athletic training that MRRG fosters.
